Lewis Carroll Inspired Wonderland Art Sessions
We have a wonderful variety of art + academic classes available, with our most popular programs being Mixed Media and Sculpture for kids as young as 3 to youths as big as 15. Our students will have the chance to explore different materials, experiment with creative techniques, and turn their favourite Wonderland characters and scenes into their very own works of art!
Whether your little artist loves painting, drawing, building, or bringing imaginative stories to life, there’s something magical waiting for everyone this season.
Who Is Lewis Carroll?
Lewis Carroll was an English writer and mathematician, best known for his beloved fantasy story Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, published all the way back in 1865! His imaginative storytelling introduced many of us to a wonderfully strange world filled with curious creatures, playful word puzzles, and crazy adventures.
From the ever-curious Alice and the mischievous little Cheshire Cat to the hurried White Rabbit and the very mad Mad Hatter (indeed!), Wonderland is a place where the impossible becomes possible and imagination knows no limits!
Carroll’s whimsy of a world has inspired generations of artists, illustrators, and storytellers with its dreamlike landscapes and funny personalities. We love how Wonderland encourages kids to think outside the box, embrace the unusual, and create their own interpretations of a classic story. We can’t wait to see how our students bring this magical world to life in their own unique LAB style!
What Will Kids Create?
This coming winter season, we’ll be exploring two enchanting Wonderland themes, each with its own special artistic twist!
November: Wonderland Scenes

Students will explore memorable storybook excerpts and recreate their favourite characters through paintings, drawings and or sculptures.
This is how we help kids develop their storytelling skills, explore character design, and learn how to transform their favourite story moments into visual art. Every artwork will be a little different, reflecting each child’s favourite parts of the classic story.
December: Wonderland Holiday Magical Tea Party

The magic continues in December as Wonderland gets a festive holiday makeover! We’ll be creating whimsical Holiday Tea Party scenes inspired by the Mad Hatter’s famously topsy-turvy tea party, filled with charming teacups, playful table settings, curious characters, and festive details.
Our students will also explore sculpture, using different materials and techniques to build 3D Wonderland creations. From imaginative tea party paintings to delightful teacups and teapots, these projects will encourage children to have the best time!
It’s the perfect way to celebrate the holiday season with a little artistic wonder, hands-on creativity, and plenty of Wonderland magic!
