At LAB, we love any excuse to bring people together and create art!

Whether that be a birthday, family bonding activity, or a fun date with friends, we’ve got you covered.

LAB provides a safe space and opportunity for people of all ages, skill levels and imaginations to experiment with different art mediums in a fun and engaging way. Both kids and adults are welcome to our studios to create together.

Best of all, we take care of the mess so you can focus on the memories and masterpieces!

What to Expect:

Party Packages start at $220 + tax for a minimum of 4 participants and 2 hours of artsy fun:

1st hour → Every participant creates their own art project (all materials included)
2nd hour → Time to celebrate with food, cake, and presents!

*We charge $22 per participant, exceeding 4 people. For more than 8 participants, there will be an extra charge of $50 for a second instructor.

Pick Your Medium:

Our instructors will guide each participant through creating their very own project, ensuring everyone leaves with their own finished piece of art to be proud of. Our studio is happy to supply any of the following mediums:

Acrylic painting on canvas
Watercolour painting on paper
Polymer clay (3D figurines or 2D dioramas)
Ceramic clay (mugs, plates, bowls, jewelry) *
Needle felting (2D landscapes or 3D charms)
Tie-dye (T-shirts or tote bags) *

* Additional $10 supply fee, thank you for understanding :)

Pick Your Theme:

Once you've decided on your medium, it’s time to decide which theme you would like to explore! At LAB, we encourage creativity and are happy to create a custom demonstration to match your imagination. Have a favourite character? Want to learn to paint like Van Gogh? Maybe dip your toes into a new art style you've never tried? Perfect, because our team of instructors is ready to assist any ideas you may have.

If you don't have a specific idea in mind, don't worry, we are full of suggestions! In the past, we have done all sorts of character-themed parties!

Add-On Options:

Art kit gift bags are available from our LAB Shop. We offer discounts for birthday party groups as well as customization for art kits to fit your budget.

Decoration packages are available for purchase at the time of booking. We will set up latex and foil balloons arrangements, table cloths, photo backdrops, and streamers!

FAQs:

Do parents need to stay for kids’ parties?

During the first hour (art making time)- If participants are 3+ years old, parents are not required to stay. However, if participants are under 3 years old, parents are expected to stay and assist their child as necessary.
During the second hour- This is your studio time, where you can bring food, open presents and have family/friends gather; we do ask for at least 1 parent to be in the studio to supervise that portion, especially if any food is served.

Can we do 2 full hours just art, no party time?

Yes! It will just be $100+ tax more for the additional hour of art fun!

What decorations and supplies can we bring?

Balloons, banners, hats, streamers—make it festive!
Please bring your own utensils, plates, and knives for serving food.
