Let us ring in the new year with an exciting fun theme! From January to February 2024, our Weekly Classes for kids will be infused with the vibrant spirit of the legendary Pop-Art artist, Andy Warhol.
Get ready to dive into the world of captivating art, where we'll explore the magic of attractive colours, bold outlines, and the incorporation of everyday objects into our masterpieces. Our Weekly Classes are designed to spark the imagination of toddlers to teens, focusing on techniques to make their art POP!
Meeting the Icon: Andy Warhol
Andy Warhol, a revolutionary figure in the art world, serves as our muse for this exciting journey. Renowned for his themes of patterns, mass productions, repetitions, and pop culture art, Warhol's influence is woven into every aspect of our Weekly Classes.
By introducing children to the life and work of this iconic artist, we aim to inspire them to think beyond conventional boundaries and embrace the power of creativity.
Themes we will explore:
Patterns: Discover the mesmerizing world of patterns as we draw inspiration from Warhol's iconic silk-screen prints. From repetitive designs to bold and striking motifs, our young artists will learn to create visually stunning patterns that tell a unique story.
Mass Productions: Understand the concept of mass productions through Warhol's famous works, such as his Campbell's Soup Cans. Kids will explore how everyday objects can become symbols of art when approached with a creative lens.
