This spring, we're thrilled to introduce a vibrant series of themes designed to awaken creativity and celebrate the season of renewal! Join us from March 17 to April 4, 2025, for three weeks of artistic fun and exploration at our Spring Break Camps. With cheerful garden parties, lively springtime celebrations, and a special focus on Earth Week, there’s something to inspire every young artist. These will be available at all our studio locations: Steveston, Point Grey and Kerrisdale.
Spring Break Camps 2025 Weekly Themes
Each week, we'll delve into a unique spring theme, combining art, culture, and storytelling to ignite your child’s imagination. Here’s what you can look forward to:
WEEK 1 (Mar 17 - Mar 21): Garden Parties + Tales
Step into a world of vibrant blooms and whimsical garden creatures! Students will create art inspired by colourful spring flowers, favourite animals, and magical garden stories. From painting lush garden scenes to sculpting charming critters, this week will be filled with imaginative creations.
WEEK 2 (Mar 24 - Mar 28): Springtime Festivities
Celebrate the joy of spring with festive art projects inspired by seasonal traditions, blossoms, and cheerful colours! Young artists will explore springtime celebrations from around the world, creating lively decorations, paintings, and multimedia crafts that capture the essence of the season.
WEEK 3 (Mar 31 - Apr 4): Earth Week
Discover the beauty of our planet and learn how to protect it through art! This week focuses on environmental themes, from lush landscapes to wildlife conservation. Kids will create eco-inspired art using sustainable materials, fostering a love for nature and creativity.
Creative Activities for Every Camper
Our talented team of instructors will guide your child(ren) through a variety of fun and imaginative projects, including:
Painting Studies: Experiment with colour, composition, and technique to create beautiful spring landscapes and vibrant still life paintings.
Sculpture Hand Building: Learn slab, coil, and pinch pot techniques to sculpt garden-inspired pieces like flower pots, insects, and critters.
Fine Arts Drawing Techniques: Explore sketching and shading techniques to bring to life intricate floral patterns, animals, and springtime scenes.
Textile/Multimedia Arts: Create unique crafts using fabrics, natural materials, and mixed media, such as decorative banners, creatures and more!
Science + Art Exploration: Combine science and creativity to craft projects like seed mosaics, plant-inspired prints, or eco-friendly art pieces.
Creative Story Writing/Reading: Dive into spring-themed stories and write imaginative tales paired with artistic illustrations.
Students will develop their artistic skills while fostering a deeper appreciation for art and creativity. At the end of the camp, every participant will take home a unique portfolio of spring-inspired masterpieces—a collection of cherished memories and artistic achievements.

 All the class activities are perfect for first-time art students. We have a specific curriculum for each age group/level to try and challenge themselves with.
